Just pondering the how's. My boot drive is still an ssd and after bios boot screen it only takes 10secs max before I can use the system.
Yes it's tidier looking and faster but I've no use for faster. Is the gaming experience that much better from an nvme?

If you are after a new bigger drive for games, keep your SSD for OS and buy a NVME purely for games.

NVME can usually be cheaper than SSD now.

I have sata, m2 sata and gen 4 nvme (seagate 530) based ssd's, all in 2tb sizes so pretty much like for like.

Honestly outside of large transfer scenarios where nvme can go faster you'll hardly notice a difference imo, and even then you're restricted to read/write of the slowest drive. New gen 5 ssd's are pretty pointless imo.

Having said that I'd buy nvme now due to it usually being the cheaper option.
