Hi guys.

Need some advice on the best way for me to control the fan speed of 6 Vardar fans I have in push/pull on my front rad which cools my two GPU's in the loop?

I've got 12 fans in total, 6 on each rad, one rad in the top of the case which cools the CPU, these 6 fans I have on the case fan controller so these are not the problem.

The ones I need to control are the other 6 in front of the case. They are 4 pin PWM Vardars https://www.overclockers.co.uk/ek-water-blocks-ek-vardar-f4-120er-2200rpm-wc-867-ek.html . My mobo only has 3 pin fan headers, how would I go about getting a solution to controlling these so they are not constantly blamming away at 2200rpm?

I was wondering if something like this would do the job? https://www.overclockers.co.uk/phanteks-pwm-fan-hub-ca-009-pt.html Bit confused though as this only looks to take 3 pin fans. There is also the NZXT one but that also looks like a 3 pin one only.

I should also add I've also no spare drive bays so it would need to be external solution of some sort. I've been looking around for a 4 pin to 3 pin Y splitter, but looks like no such thing exists so I'm clueless really.

Phanteks hub is controlled by PWM but is actually controlling fans by voltage, which sucks:/ NZXT is voltage cotrol as well.

The only option I think is Corsair Commander Mini, 6 PWM fans, 4 temp probes (which is cool for WC). I've got also Giga board and was looking for something similar but no luck. Corsair software is really good recently so a lot of options to control those fans .

but how would 4 pin PWM vardars connect to 3 pin hubs? thats what I don't understand.

Just looking at the Corsair Link Mini now, looks like a great solution as I have a lot of Corsair stuff in my build. Can't find anywhere that sells them in the UK. The Corsair UK site has them listed at £48, but when you click to add to cart, redirects to a .com

Try the aquacomputer splitty. You can connect up to 9 fans, 4pin or 3pin. I have 4 pwm fans connected to it via an aquero 6 but you can use any fan header as long as its got the power to drive your fans.

It's working fine when I add to cart +£6.8 for shipping.

Thx guys for advice, finally ordered the Corsair Commander direct last night, seeing as I have a fair bit of Corsair kit it's not a lot of money. Must have just been the site playing silly buggers last night. Looks like the new software has improved a fair bit, not perfect but a damn site better than the first release.
