How would it fold ;)

Reckon you could shave a bit more off ;) You could lose the DVD drives by running a network boot (I assume you were thinking of live CDs?) and with a bit of trickery I reckon each of those PSUs would just about support two systems.

I was thinking Live CD and I did think about Netowork Boot but I don't have the expertise :(

And thats a good point Get the 550W or a bit but only buy 5 ;) Dunno how that would affect OCing mind?

Actually to be honest if I was gonna do that I'd phone up *unnamed company* and see what kind of a deal they'd do me seeing as I would be about to give them £4.5K

@the gf thing

could you get the nine pcs and then "loan" them out to friends and family on the condition they leave them on 24/7?

Auntie Nora gets an overclocked q6600 to play solitaire on and you get to spread the electricity bill.

That sounds familiar, my Mum has my old 2.5 Celery and she's after my E6300 Shuttle with 7600GT GFX card when it returns from RMA, all she does is write emails and play solitaire......

May try and persuade my parents that my brother really needs a dual-core CPU to handle those demanding flash games, not to mention the MP3s he plays at the same time, and the MSN :eek: I need more PPD!

They would still be my computers.

Also my family and friends wont leave a PC on 24/7.

My one has to stay on because it's a server.
The media centre has to stay on else it can't record.

I have to make excuses to keep PC's on.
