How would you change the Hungaroring layout?

Unless wet, the Hungaroring gives procession races, in F1 at least.

I think the layout is a bit long in the tooth. How would you change it?

The layout wasn't originally planned like that. They ended up having to change many of the corners when it was being built as they came across underground streams and feared subsidence so changed the direction of the track a few times.

Just widen every substantial braking spot to allow more than one effective line. One of the few things I like about the new India circuit...

The track does need widening, as does quite a few of the old European circuits.

So along with that I thought a small change like this would give a second change of overtaking & made the main straight a little longer also.

Just pay a few million to host about 10 race weekends on the build up to the F1 event, that will clear up the track off line a bit and make it better for people to pass.

Also widen the big hairpin before the pair of corners on to the back straight so its a bigger loop for some entertaining action.

Force them to run Monza spec wings so the cars are a bit more lary, braking distances are longer and less impact of following other cars ;)

The track should be dropped from the calender, the only thing that makes a good race there is rain. But as long as they pay the money Berny wants then they will still host it. It's just no good for modern F1 cars.

not the best as i only have ms paint, but something like this.

i also think this should be made:

anyone know it?

one of my favorite ever tracks to race around.

I tried Grand Valley years ago when someone did it for Gran prix legends and TBH it wasn't very good. it might be a great track in modern cars but in the old '67 cars it just didn't flow at all and felt very strange. I agree it's great in the GT games but I'm not sure it would work IRL.
