How's business been this week?

Bit of a random question but how's business been for people this week? Mainly looking at people in retail. I work for a company that has a small online business and sales have been rather low. Anyone else experiencing this? :confused:

I work in retail and this time last year we were crazy busy on weekend...It's not the case currently.

Had a really dire couple of weeks. Last two days have picked up though.

Same here!
Online sales have been about 20% lower for the previous 2 weeks than the preceeding 3 weeks.

That's what I've experienced too. Thursday picked up although today was poor again. It usually picks up now considerably when it's close to pay week for most but I'm yet to see that this month.

I'll be honest, I really struggle to work out much in the way of patterns with my shop.

You've got the payday increase in sales, but aside from that it's really all over the place.

Not in retail but to give you a different perspective this year has been a complete nightmare but not due to low sales, this is our best year of all time and the hours have been brutal, for example 65 hours is my best so far but >50 all year, I'm burnt out and looking forward to my holiday.

I am complaining but not complaining both at the same time.

EDIT: No I dont get paid overtime, you do the math // weighing up....

We've been taking far higher than average Paypoint bill payments this week for some reason. Lifted more today on Paypoint than I would expect to take on the Friday of pay week (by far our biggest Paypoint day of the month).

Normal trade hasn't been any different than normal.

Yup sales are in the toilet.. We're significantly down on last year in the clothing retail sector.

A little lower than average, but not low enough to cause any problems.

I work in a car garage, had a bust weekend last weekend, not all that busy in general though, I think we're on 90% to our cash sales target for this month.

This week and thelast month or two in general have been pretty poor. This weekend I am hoping to claw some of it back tho. I have a lot of business in to close on saturday.
