Intel wont drop the price of the E6600 by much.

Just get a E6750 instead.

that case is awfull, get an Lian-Li PC-7, Antec p182 or a antec nine hundred, also i would recommend a 640mb gts if you are playing at 20"+ (lcd)

I think the case is more personal preference - from what I've read that case is not so bad in terms of cooling and convenience and the aesthetics are subjective. Noise, on the other hand, seems to be a major issue with this one ...

Get the e2160 and it will save you a bundle. People have had them up to 3.6GHz, and 3GHz is pretty common.

That will save you about 80-90 quid.
