Having posted and reposted in this forum regarding specs for a very decent gaming and general entertainment spec for a budget of £900, this is what I have come up with.

Anything you guys can add to make this setup better/cheaper, but remain in the £900 price range?

At a later date, I will add a SSD when they become cheaper and better.

I will overclock the system as I go along.

I keep swaying towards the ATI 6950, but I know the GTX480 is slightly better in performance despite being louder and more power consuming. (Please note my monitor has max resolution of 1920 x 1080, so even the GTX480 is overkill, but I hope it's more future-proofed than lower cards.

Is the PSU SLI compliant?

Your views would be appreciated.

i5-2500K (retail has 3 years warranty).

I'd look at the Antec TruePower New Modular750W, not sure about the OCZ. Not a big fan of SLI / XFire though.

For me, it would still be a HD6950 (even the 2GB version) or a 560ti. Maybe not as quick, but less heat and noise issues, and as you say, at those resolutions.

all in all, should bring it to £850 total. 8 gigs is nice with SSD (or without) as you can disable virtual memory (unless you really need those 8 gigs).
