I seriously had no clue Ricky Martin was gay until he came out .. my mates are like 'oh come on it was soooo obvious' (er, was it?)

I also honestly had absolutely no idea George Michael was gay until 'the incident'... again (suspiciously after the event, never mentioned previously) my mates are all .. COME ON Britters it's been obvious for years he's as bent as a 6-bob note' , er, has it?:O

Now I have been getting on really well with a guy at work and he has just announced his 'preference' to me and it just caught me 100% unawares. I didn't have the remotest foggiest clue, and told others who laughed and said 'He wears yellow trousers for goodness sake'!! er .. right ..


Hows your gaydar? Can you figure people out straight away or are you like me, need it *painfully* spelt * out * before you realise?
 
Ricky Martin is gay????? Jesus, I though he looked like a right ladies man.

However, I did spend 2 years next to a guy at college I though was just shy, and I kept egging him on with girls, only to find him on FB years later in a gay relationship.
 
Not every gay man is a flaming queen you know :p

One of my colleagues is gay and I would never have guessed it.
 
My gaydar is pretty good. I wouldn't really be shocked if someone that I hadn't spotted came out to me, though - mostly they're not like the queers out of Vanishing Point, you know :p
