Hi guys i have a HP Compaq 8100 Elite Small Form Factor with 240 watt psu, would anyone know what grapics card that i could use:confused:.Any info would be great,Thanks guys

You will struggle to find any worthwhile cards as the Pci-e slot is limited to only 25W.

I had the same problem with the older DC7900 sff, and the best option I could find was a geforce gt 720.

Thanks,it is only for the kids to play small crappy games like star stable(they updated the grapics),no one else uses it.Even a cheaper one would be ok:cool:

as long as both radeon and the NVidia cards come with the 2 x matching low profile brackets...

You will be lucky if you get a r7 240 to work, I had a dell optiplex gx620 and mine was a version that had a pcie adapter in place so you could fit 2 or a dual full height bracket(low profile card) sideways and that had a 280w and it didn't want to play ball at all because of the stupid 25w limit it had.

Think I ended up putting a hd2400 in it prior to selling or might have been a 5450/210, ether way to keep to more modern type you will be either looking at the suggestions above or the hd5450/GeForce 210.

The R7 240 works. mwahahahahaaa........oh, the power.

Luckily, although the DC7900 that I put it in also only has a 240w psu, it does have 35w maximum to the pcie.

So if you have an HP DC7900 or above (8000, 8100, 8200, etc) in sff then the R7 240 will work. It also comes bundled with two sff brackets, one for the card and the other for the breakout vga.
