Anybody else find this company useless for actual customer service related problems? It appears to be more geared towards technical problems, than helping a customer with issue.

On the 22nd september I logged into palmchat to get help with a faulty touchstone charger. This was diagnosed as faulty and a new one sent out in 7 to 10 days. Brilliant I thought!

For about 2weeks now I've been looking for an email address to query where it is as I have not received this.

Their main contact page is of no help at all!
http://www8.hp.com/uk/en/contact-hp/contact.html

It's all catered towards technical! Even navigating towards the correct product page just leads me straight back to this page, or offering some other form of technical help.

So much so I ended up just emailing the Managing Director last week critising the companies lack of customer care, but said the initial technical help was good.

I've just logged back onto the initial chat system, and after waiting 10minutes with it telling me a someone will be with me in a minute or less I've given up in the mean time.

Anybody have any contact details to help in the mean time?
I've got the chat log number and case number (I can't remember what they call it exactly) but just can't remember what way round each number is.

I'm going mad with anger here! Don't even want the thing now, will no doubt be put up for sale when I get a working unit!

I know we have some HP employees, please help?!

Wow, potential stoke victim right here.

Try the chat thing again, seems to have worked well for you before, try 11 minutes, 12 minutes, or hell, even try again later if it's too busy.

If they're no help try any other contact you like, just explain you aren't sure this is the right place to call but can you point me in the right direction. You'll score eventually.

Or if it's too much trouble, give up, maybe that's what they want.

Cheers janp, I did give google a go, but had no luck.

Telescopi, having a brain dead moment, "stoke victim" just a typo of stroke victim? If not what do you meant? Apart from being a potential link to a stoker?

There is this wonderful thing known as a TELEPHONE it is much much better for resolving issues like this than emails that are easily forgotten/ignored/lost.

I dislike phoning people I don't know, yes it's something I have to deal with but makes me feel sick with anxiety. And chances the call centre will have a heavy accent I can't understand.

Aye, typo for stroke, way too much anger because a faceless drone in a huge company messed up. Just fire up that chat thing again and watch the F1 on i-player, I'm sure they'll answer before the end.
