hp g70-120em - Lcd issue or Graphics issue

I know the pics are crap but its all i have to show the issues with this laptop.
i need to know though if the issue is with the lcd screen or internal graphics card.

if its the graphics card then im screwed as its soldered onto the motherboard but if its the lcd screen i can replace that.

to me though i have never seen issue like this before on laptops, i think its a screen issue but i need imput anyone else seen this kind of issue ? and could point to what the issue could be, its weird as the screen has no cracks in it and when booted into the os the line has gone but the green crap ??

looks like a screen issue.

have you got access to a monitor you can try or borrow one from somewhere to test it with ? Have you got an LCD TV you can connect your laptop to ?

Hi there, yeah just plugged in the HDMI and the picture quality is awesome.
no issues at all, guess the lcd is broken on the laptop, ok k gonna replace it
