HP N40L 2.5" disks

Anyone have a 2.5" disk fitted in the caddy of a HP N40L ?

Normal converters put the disk in the middle where the caddy needs the disk to one side so it aligns with the connectors. Luckily it seems that the sata power & data connectors are really stiff so the disk just hangs there.

The sata/power connectors are really tight so I've just connected the disks up on all 4 servers without a caddy

I use a Icy Dock MB971SP-B

Fits into the DVD drive bay and gives me an extra 3.5 HDD and 2.5 HDD and eject able

Anyone buy (apart from Euphoria) that dock? I need to know how far the buttons stick out. Anyone got a tape measure and 10 seconds please?

I've put an SSD into an old WD Velociraptor caddy that fits perfectly into the HP caddies.
