Is anyone else considering the HP Veer? It's a smaller, slower version of the Pre 3. Can be bought on the famous auction site for approx £150 from the USA. It works with the touchpad too....

is it difficult to unlock pre3 (from simlock )? or if I would go for pre3 via CPW and get this vodafone contract , would the phone be sim free ??

if you want tiny phone...if the screen is the same as on pixi, its quite small then...but everyone wants something different

Thats the only 'issue'. But I'd be able to text on the Touchpad, which would be brilliant! I seem to be seeking a phone for the sake of seeing this interactive phone <=> tablet tech. Maybe I should stop!

still waiting for someone to confirm if CPW sell phones simlocked ? ...
and if yes, can pre3's be easily unlocked...as the mobile is new to the market, it can be difficult..

All current stock of Pre3's are unlocked.

Also I was wondering what would happen if the phone got damaged and they did not have any stock of the pre 3? I was considering a blackberry but a hp pre 3 would last me at such a cheap price

Quite tempted though. Currently paying £10 for Tesco Sim Only, 500 mins, 3000 texts - I'd be quite happy with 100 mins though, a probably send same amount of texts.

It's the 24 month contract I don't like. What's your data allowance? I've got 500MB from Tesco currently, but would love more.

the idea is to get mobile quite cheap and not use sim card

at least for me
