HP Touchpad + Pre3 combo?

well we do know its coming to it, that was announced at think beyond, just when is a question, any timeframe?

also why release the device without 3.0 is the first place?
 
Touchpad pre-orders are up, direct with HP. Was kinda hoping the Pre 3 would be up for pre-order direct with HP as well but it has not materialised, anyone ordered from places currently taking pre-orders?
 
Well I've got my Pre3 on order from Play.com & a 32gb Touchpad direct from HP. Come early July I'll be bathing in WebOS heaven! :D:p

Yes, I was hooked on WebOS from the moment I saw the unveiling during CES 2009! I got the first Pre on release before getting bored of the poor battery and lack of apps. I then went back to iOS before getting the Pre Plus.

Since selling the Pre Plus, I've tried Android, iOS, WP7 and BB6. I certainly have a soft spot for WebOS though. The UI is slick and polished and I love the Touchstone wireless charging! :D
 
touchstone gets me haha.

i had an iphone, got bored, and got a pre. never let it go, since oct 2009. but then the microusb came out, so i gto a pre+, which is going strong now. will get the pr3 this time on the contract, as both phons before were off contract. honestly, i can say, i cant live without webos.
 
Dabbling on my bosses Pre2 got me interested in webOS, think I'll get an order in at play because I doubt I can get it on contract through Vodafone

Bit harsh on the BlackBerry Playbook, didn't they ship like 500,000 of them? I know it's not as much as the iPad but it's not too bad IMO. I think that perhaps other manufacturers are setting their sights too high in terms of how many tablets they expect to ship? After all it is a relatively new market.
 
Pre3 will be my new phone come upgrade.

Kinda sold on the TouchPad but still reluctant to buy into the Tablet market at the moment. Just think I would use it as a bit of a distraction when adverts are on and that I can do on my phone. Definitely going to wait on it.
 
Judging by the post on Palm UK Facebook page I would guess that Play really weren't meant to be taking pre-orders yet :P . Still hopeful for a July release though, hopefully will hear something direct from HP soon, perhaps around about the Touchpad release date considering the touch to share feature is a USP for both devices.

If it's not that play.com were being naughty I'd say it's for the same reason 90% of handsets get delayed in the business - showstopping bug during network testing.

having played with Android 3.1, I think webOS will be better(unless they will blew it and it will be super slow:( )

so again have to wait for reviews...and am thinking that Pre 3 could be my next phone...we will see
