my error, thats the problem using huge images

hpet adds system latency
HPET ON: between 100-150us delay
HPET OFF: between 5-15us delay
off you are getting full read speeds

They don't look big on my screen

I know about the effect HPET has on DPC latency but that wouldn't account for this massive
speed drop.

even with it off its still not hitting close to its rated speed and as I said in the first post.... it did.

starting to suspect the latest BIOS update for my Z270 k5
