I'm not sure he doesn't have a point there (although 'only' is jumping the shark). How much useful feedback do you think the engineers were getting from a chump like Bruno? Whereas Lotus's pairing have top team experience to bring to the team and help with development and getting the best out of the car.

There is only so much set up work they can do. They didn't add any new parts to the car for the whole season, so were always going to epic fail.
