HRT drops Liuzzi for De La Rosa

Looks like Ricciardo could well be on the way to replacing Trulli at Caterham next year. It had gone quiet after I heard the original rumours but now Autosport have an article on it.

Good for Ricciardo, but bad news for Razia, Chandohok, or any other young driver in the Caterham stable.

Quite why Toro Rosso are planning on keeping the same drivers again I have no idea. What is the purpose of that team if it isn't to provide seats for young Red Bull backed drivers?

It is a strange one, I can't see Buemi or Algersuari moving up the teams in the near future.

Neither have been bad, but neither have been amazing which it seems Red Bull are wanting.

I tried to make this point in the 2012 thread, but it was overshadowed by some argument about Sutil vs Di Resta.

I do not understand what Red Bull are trying to do with Toro Rosso.
