App still not working for me. This tip did get it working, though, so thought I'd share:

This did work for me and also allowed the option to generate a security code, although web banking just seems to spin currently even before entering logon IB details. What a shambles to be in this state for the entire day!

And people make a fuss when something like Revolut, or one of the digital banks has an issue.
TBF it's not common for HSBC to be down. Now if it was Natwest it would make more sense.
