ht overclocking

should i oc the ht because on some sites it says if u move it above 2000 it makes it unstable and others say its fine.

Have you OCed the CPU?

What settings?

With an overclocked system it is sometimes worthwhile OCing the HT and NB rather than pushing the CPU that extra 200MHz. Up to 2400 should be OK on auto volts, but it depends on the mobo. I keep it stock at 8 x 250

i duno buh theres not a lot of help out there. my cpu is on 296fsb and 13mult. buh it would be good just to no what the ht does

yeh, some people say you are good up to 2400, but what does that actually give you in terms of performance gains, is it something that will make it faster, or just something that helps make it stable
