They look quite similar, given the screen size, and the Desire HD ROM has been ported to the HD2

The way companies operate 0845 numbers should be seriously ******* regulated. I've had to ring two different companies today with one spending a total of 20 minutes mostly on hold. The second call to MPD, lasting 6 minutes, just gives me a message at the end saying "We're experiencing a high volume of calls at the moment, email us instead", and cuts me off. So it's taken 6 minutes of premium rate call for absolutely nothing at all, not even an option to stick around until someone becomes available. Bloody ridiculous!

. Just Google '0870' instead.Never heard of ***********.com then?
Edit: Ok so apparently that website address is banned, probably because OcUK use an 0845 number. Just Google '0870' instead.
The number they had put me through to the 'finance department', as soon as I wanted to talk sales she gave me the 0845 number
Dear Customer
Your new HTC Desire HD!
The latest information regarding your delivery has not changed - ‘we are still expecting to be able to fulfil your order by the end of October’.
This will have no impact on you being one of the first customers to receive this amazing new phone!
There is no need to call us, we promise to update you with further information next week.
"We are an HTC ultimate partner - HTC have advised of delays due to Android OS testing. Limited stock is expected end Oct and we will supply Desire HD on a first ordered first delivered basis"

That can't be true either - if it was just a matter of compatibility testing for network operators' custom firmware then the SIM-free unlocked ones would be available BEFORE the networks' devices!
Never believe marketing reps!![]()
