HTC Desire ST585v6 help

Wondering if anyone has this same combination, I'm trying to get the wifi to work, and without any encryption security it's fine. However, soon as I force encryption of any type it connects, gets the IP address but then fails to work.

Am I shafted due to the older Thomson ST585v6?

I use an HTC Desire with an ST585v7 which I think is the same router but with VOIP capabilites. No problems using WEP encryption, I haven't tried WPA though (it's a router at work so not that bothered about using WPA).

It's weird.

From the phone (via WiFi Analyzer) I can see:

Ip Address,
Gateway, Netmask, DNS, Server IP, Link Speed, Kidden SSID (no) and my local MAC

So it's "connected" but I can't even browse web...

:S

For those having a similar problem.

I would suggest making sure your DNS entires are correct

(I've populated mine manually on pcs and forgot the DNS ones on router are basically dead).
