Htc m8 or galaxy s5

Im not sure which to get the htc m8 or the galaxy
both are good phone but both have there faults

I hate that samsung has not bothered to change the design, it look the same as the last 2 phones,


I was aiming for the m8 till i was told the camera is only 4mp and the screen does not look as good

Try both in store and see which you like better, both are great phones, it comes down to personal preference end of the day, can't go wrong with either.

Galaxy S5 has too many gimmicks and it's locked down with knox while the HTC One M8 is still rocking that 4MP camera.

I'd wait and see what else gets released this year.

Yet the S5/HTC One M8 are two of the best well rounded devices that have been launched this year regardless

Based on this choice your better off going for the Sony, I cannot make calls or take pictures sorry.


I had an S3 and found it full of junk from samsung Id never use but was a really nice phone otherwise.

Have been using a HTC one M7 for a while now, in a word, smooth! very nice experience and do not miss the S3 at all but the HTC is a more modern phone.


If I was choosing now between the S5 or the ONE I would go for the ONE every time! The camera is good enough (not a patch on the S5) but not a poor camera at all. Plus with the ONE you get the awesome phone speakers and the stunning body. Also HTC dont seem to bung loads of bloatware on their phones like Samsung and the M8 now has an SD card slot so the S5 doesnt have that advantage anymore.

I have the s3 thats the reason I did not like the look of the s5, I can see any difference other then the leather, but the 4mp is a problem, I take more pic and dont listen to music much on a phone, the way these guys are taking one step forward 2 steps back i may end up waiting for the iphone 6, as for the z2 I had a xperia z but I did not like it, it was too big to hold and dident look very good

The M8 and S5 seems pretty similiar in size to the Z1/2, but have a play with it to see if it's comfortable in your hands. Personally, I would pick the Z2 as well, but if that's not an option then the M8 would be my next choice, or the S5 with a custom ROM.

4mp is fine for a phone camera. Its not all about megapixels anyway. The m8 is a much nicer phone than the massively underwhelming and ugly s5. Then you have Samsung bloatware to take into consideration, the thing I really hate about my s4.
