HTC Vive

Got Vive on Friday. Played with it over the weekend.
The Space Shooter and arrow game in The Lab are brilliant.
No sign of the free games you are supposed to get with it though. I think you are supposed to get an email within 24 hours after receiving it? Nothing yet...

Emailed support and they just sent a blank reply with it marked as closed. Idiots.

If you like the arrow game in the lab you should pick up Holopoint too. Its only about a fiver and loads of fun, first game to genuinely make me fall over :)

Yes indeed 18mins. UK has been slow to deliver so far but starting to catch up.
 
Getting utterly ****ed off with HTC now :( Wave2 guys are able to raise a new Logmein order, but Wave1 guys who have already had a Logmein are not able to. So basically, we're screwed :(

Someone please sell me their Vive :(

The roomscale stuff tends not to give you motion sickness, because your body is moving along with what your eyes are seeing - i.e. nothing to cause motion sickness.

Might be different for the seated experiences like DCS and LFS
 
In other news, I finally spoke to one of the CS reps who let me raise a second Logmein order and paid with PP. Funds FINALLY gone from my account, still have an April ship date...

Now the waiting game (again..)
 
I'm still awaiting mine too. I was assured it world be shipped on Monday. I rang them again and was told it would be shipped within the next couple of days. Getting really annoyed now. I paid via PayPal on the 29th Feb about 5 minutes after sales went live. I would buy from HTC again and I would advise others not to either.
 
just got my tracking info, nearly deleted the email trying shut my alarm off after working late lol

based on the speed of others deliveries it should be here tomorrow

Cockpit games like LFS generally won't cause motion sickness, DCS on the other hand might if you attempt to do barrel rolls and inverted flight. That is something you'd get used to though.

:-) I'm 4 hours in from preorder. got the hold on my credit card. waiting for shipping info..might be a couple of weeks I guess.

Got my code too, my package went straight to East Midlands however and is now with the courier. Too bad I'm at work and no one is in. :(
