html geeks - read in re ebay

I see nothing wrong with the text, but the price however leaves a lot to be desired.

£6k for an 04 reg 320 Coupe :confused: Which part of Nigeria is he from?

EDIT: Ahh, sorry, location BirMINGham = Case Closed :p

try clicking anywhere on the page
if i posted a link some people may think its a fake page, but it's genuine!

Looks like a clever phishing system to me.

Check the URL of the hover.

EDIT: The IP address in the URL alone points to ebay.com

Something very odd here.

WTH is going on there :confused: :confused:

I didn't know of any code that would 'take over' the window including all of ebays own bits... Very odd and very scam-like.

I think maybe he's trying to be clever and use a transparent gif overlay to protect his images from theft, but has got his html a bit wrong?

Not likely, he's linked it to an external server where you can ask questions... so eBay has no details of what's been said. It's probably a scam.

Yep, think you're probably right there mate.

This is what you get from the form mail:

Name = test
Subject = test
Message = test
submit = Send Email

Also forwards the IP, browser details and www2.fiberbit.net under a URL field, for reasons I don't know.
