I am getting round to building my HTPC. This is what I have. Can anyone improve in it? This will be used as media centre pc, for watching freeview, recording and playing to/from hard disk and DVD, and will also do some gaming.
I don't need mouse, hard drive, keyboard, monitor, or OS.
Any suggestions for changes?
The list above misses motherboard, hard disk and RAM. I already have a good 500GB disk, and I plan to get elsewhere:
ASROCK M3A770DE motherboard £54
a single 2GB RAM stick elsewhere £38 (since OcUK only sel in pairs)
total £92. My budget is tight, and can't afford the second 2GB stick just yet - but that's the easiest to add later.
Any recommendation for a silent 120mm and 80mm fan ?
