Ok I tested the above combination out of curiosity, havent started looking for decent skins yet but the imbd lookup rocks. Individual season covers and episode synopsises (synopsis? Synops?) are all very useful. One question, how do yuo change the film for a specific one when it picks the wrong one?
I wasn't lying, have you tried Boxee?
It's a re-work of the open source XBMC into something cross platform that frankly just works out of the box rather than you having to mess with skins and plugins etc.
You might hate it, but I have found it to be far superior to WMC, even with extensions like Media Browser.
It has categorised my music fantastically given how large my library is, and aside from a few films it couldn't identify (easily remedied by spending 5 minutes doing it myself through its interface lookup feature), it works really well. You have to make an account, but its all free and once you do you can access all the different clients as well as contribute to its community. It also has full film/tv series synopsis done via IMDB lookup, as well as categorising your music into artist (including getting a head-shot of most artists even very obscure ones).
Apologies if you just don;t like it, but if you haven't tried it, give it a shot.
I tend to just rename the file to what it is on IMDB, if you copy the name of the file and the year i find that it very rarely makes mistakes.
