It's very annoying. Was just watching spring watch and it was making me ill

It never does it with 1080p mkv files

This in wmc
Pci-e dvb-t2 card

Any explanation?

Edit
This is also present on recordings of the broadcast played back

Edt 2

This now seems to be happening on all channels!

Yeh my money is on refresh rate differences. Was getting the same thing from XBMC when watching 24p content adjusted for 50hz.

Yep euro broadcast video needs to be 50Hz. I have my XBMC machine set to 50Hz and switch to match fps for 24p. If your TV can't handle 24p you need to be switching between 50Hz and 60Hz depending on source.

I figured this out today. Was fiddling with ccc settings and I think the gfx card was set at 24 so forcing it onto 50 seems to have worked. It no longer skips and is smoother throughout! Hd looks loads better!

I always thought it was signal issue

Still not solved!

Watching 'spring watch' there is still a jerk every 2 seconds (roughly) on panning scenes, this was the worst offending program yesterday

Edt doesn't seem regular the jerkyness
