HTPC keyboard

I've got one of them Xebec's in black and it's a bit crap.

The build quality is good but you don't get that impression when you hold it, cheapo plastic everywhere and the keys don't have a great feel. The trackpad area is shocking.

The main downside though is the wireless range is rubbish. My sofa is only less than 3m away from my PC (where the HTPC is) but you still have to have it in just the right place for it to work. Annoying.

That could just be interferance from something in my living room I guess, but it's still not good. The fact it's rechargeable is fantastic though, and you can still use it while it's charging, albeit plugged in!

Hi
thanks for the information and we just chcked with our Product Manager regards to distance of wireless. RF is standard 10 to 15 meters but it looks like you even have a problem with 3 meters. Yes, you are correct it might be inteerance in your living room. That is the nature of RF which nothing we really can help you on that. Unless you go for BlueBooth, that might be a better option.
The key structure is "Scissors design" which is the toppest range of keyboard module apart from Mechnical. But we will still pass it to our RD and get them look into more details. As this is desinged in UK, therefore we can quickly to pass the information to the whole team.

Thank you again for your comments and opinions and we will provide better quality of products

Logitech denovo mini for me works spot on for what I need it for just the odd bit of windows setting up updates etc, I have a media centre remote that works lovely on XBMC which gets the most use.
