How will parts go together to make a 24/7 hd htpc?

AMD Athlon X2 4850e 2.5ghz
Gigabyte GA-MA78GPM-DS2H
1000GB WD Caviar Green
LG GGC-H20L Blu-Ray/HD-DVD SATA Drive
also possibly 256MB Sapphire HD3450 (Hybrid Crossfire with onboard gfx)

I have some spare Geil ull I can use and will need a sound card if onboard is not up to scratch. Case wise I am undecided but considering the Tsunami MJR2 to be abit different and it can be stood on end.

Also I take it a seasonic 300 watt psu will be more than enough?

Thanks

Anyone got any thoughts on this spec?

I will be ditching my Q6600 for this setup as I don't use the performance anymore as only surfing the net and watching dvds and listening to music.

The Tsunami MJR2 is out of the question as it uses a slim optical drive.

That will be fine without the HD3450, 300W PSU will be overkill. Wouldn't have thought a standard Seasonic PSU would fit the case looking at the description on SVP though. It does include it's own PSU, but who knows whether that is like an Aircraft or not?

I wouldn't bother with the GPM over the GM, the sideport memory makes almost no difference and it's still too slow for any games.
You don't need a discrete card with the IGP.
If you use analogue outputs then a soundcard would be good but if you're using HDMI or S/PDIF it makes no difference.

Thanks for the help, it's cleared a few things up.

Will drop the 3450 then and I have a X-fi gamer soundcard I can use.

Antec Fusion is a nice case, just something puts me off. Think it's the knob on the front.

Might look at some reviews for the Fusion as it would tick all boxes in a case I need.
