HTPC Software?

Hello all,

After the recent blowing up of my HTPC, it's time for another

But software - i always thought Vista Media Centre was really the only option, but it turns out there are a lot!

What do you use?
What do you recommend?

XBMC - there is both a windows and a linux port

Vista 64 with Media Portal front end... But I dont have HD/BluRay or a tv tuner...

Media portal.

Used to use Meedios, but Media portals TV and movie database updater is really good.

This. Forget MediaPortal. XBMC is so much more simple, stable and polished.

and does Mediaportal or XBMC organise/display your files nicely?
good music collection support, ie. album art etc?
multi folders for movies, shows?
solid builds?
fast on low/mid PC?
