Hi guys just another spec check. I've been reading a little on htpc set ups and believe this spec is the most ideal and inexpensive. If anyone has suggestions where I could reduce the cost please say.
Is 4gb ram too much?
Is 150w power supply too much? £80 on psu is quite a big chunk.
Im also unsure on what cooler to purchase. Any suggestions welcome. I believe it must be lower than 37mm
An old Vertex 2 60gb will be used for OS, not sure on exact OS yet although unlikely to be windows as I have no need or the money for it. XBMC will be used for streaming music and video from NAS (mostly 720p mkvs some 1080p content but no 3D).
Blu ray drive and tv card may be added at later date.
