All compatible? What else options are there?

Rubbish keyboard- it's IR!
I'd use XP Home + Media Portal instead
I believe the ATI 2600 offer superior HD acceleration? Also you don't need 512MB of VRAM for HTPC

I have a HTPC, after trying out the major HTPC front end's I've stuck with XP & Media Portal, it's considerbly better than MCE (although I don't use tuners so cannot verify Media Portal at least equals MCE in that area)

I'd try and fit a quiet CPU HSF, but with that case you're limited to medium sized ones, mate has the same case- Zalman 7000 Cu installed.

OK I've just replaced:

Gigabyte GeForce 8600 GT Silent Fanless 512MB DDR2 HDTV/DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (GV-NX86T512H)

with:

Gigabyte ATI Radeon 2600 Pro Silent Fanless 512MB DDR2 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (GV-RX26P512H)

And just dumped the keyboard and added:

Zalman CNPS7500-CU CPU Cooler (Socket 478/754/939/940/AM2/LGA775)

Comes to: £560.29 inc

Media Portal is so sloooowwww.

Also there's a slightly cheaper version of that case with a 380w PSU, can't remember the name of it though
