Seeing as I'm going to be building a few PCs for me and mates over the next few weeks, here is a log..

Mainly a HTPC but with some light gaming..

How is stability so far??

So far seems perfect, but this was a build for my cousin. Building mine Tomorrow / this weekend, with virtually the same set up.

Will upload some pictures of it, but except for one of the hard drives all the other parts are the same. (Any other suggestions anyone?)

I'll be able to monitor it for stability a lot more.

I just had the same mobo arrive today and it does look rather nifty. I'm pairing mine up with a x4 760k, with an eye to upgrading to more advanced FM2+ CPU's, should AMD want to make them...

This will be my second Asrock board, and for a company I'd previously never looked twice at, so far my experience has been very positive.

Im a total idiot me.

what started off as a cheap project while I am trying to recover from an accident, of knocking up a basic media Center has now turned into a dual multi project that I have spent nearly a grand on in all.

On of my setups however is fairly good for basic gaming.

MSI A55M-P33
AMD APU 2.5Ghz
4GB DDR3 ( plus another 2GB that was lying about )
AvP Gladius Mobo ( Cheap and really nasty but looks quite neat )
ATI Card same as onboard so hybrid SLI
400GB IDE that again was lying about but using Sata adapter.
Same again with a naff old DVDRW through a Sata adapter.

Total cost was well under £150 for that setup

I have since added a 60GB SSD for C: and a cheap MediaPlayer remote and receiver and Digital TV card for throwing it into the boys' room. Job done. Plays everything I throw at it... With obvious graphical limitations.
