Can I just suggest the Acer Revo 3610 too. Its silent and would run windows 7 with XBMC or linux/XBMC live with ease.

I have the 3600 and its great, was cheaper than building my own too.

This thread suggests hdmi would work with your amp..

Bought a acer revo 3610 3 weeks ago. My most favourite purchase of this and last year.

Small, Quiet, Nvidia ion accelerates HD video perfectly and there is now a model for 293 quid comes with 500gd hard drive, windows 7 home premium and 4gb Ram.

Running Media portal with moving pictures for films and Tv-series for well tv series works a charm.
