This is my first post on these forums so please excuse my noobishness. :D

I badly want to overclock my rig, and started partially when i found that in my BIOS (Phoenix - AwardBIOS v6.00PG updated a few weeks ago) i cannot change the HTT frequency. This of course means i cannot overclock my system. :(

I was wondering if there is a way, to change HTT inside windows, or if i can download a different type of BIOS for my board, an Abit KN9 nForce 4 Ultra (not SLI).

Any help at all would be of great assistance to me. Thank you!

My problem is i can't find the HTT multiplier, i know about dropping it down, but if i can't actually change the HTT speed i can't overclock. Just checking what you said about where it is. :D

What about HT(FSB) speed though?

I need to increase that (dropping down the multiplier to 4 or even 3)in order to overclock [test the motherboard] do i not?

**Smacks head**.

My stupidity is limitless, i completely forgot that the CPU is multiplied by the HT, and thus OF COURSE the 200MHz i see in the softmenu must be the HT and not just the CPU.

Thank you greatly for making my realize my idiotic stupidness.

Now i can get to work... Thank you again!
