HU lead

Yeah that's a 30pin Apple dock connector. If you trace it back to the stereo it'll probably just be a USB socket. What unit is it? If it's aftermarket it's a bit unusual that it has a USB / iPod connection and yet won't play mp3 CDs.

Hmm, are you certain that iPod cable is connected to the merc system? Don't have any interface boxes in or behind the unit or glovebox?

Oh it's OEM, fair enough. It says there it'll play mp3 disks though :p maybe something is off with the burning process or it doesn't like the disks.

Anyway, I'd guess that the iPod connector is part of some form of aftermarket integration fitted and hidden away behind the dash - I assume this wasn't done by you?

No, i didn't install nothing, just purchase the car in January 14. The manual again is showing that the unit can play mp3. But no luck, i try the HU and the dvd from the boot, and same error. I will try with different cd.

Make sure you use a CD Audio file system not data ie drag and drop. And always close the session. What type of media and software are you using? The unit is MP3 compatible. Its the media or burning process where your going wrong.

you should burn a CD with mp3 type not data type by ""Ashampoo Burning Studio 12"" i prefer this one than other ..if u burn*mp3*CD*direct it will not work >> i have the same model of yours and i had the problem before i tried this program*i wish this could help u*after installing Ashampoo Burning Studio 12 choose Music then " Create MP3 or WMA Disc "burn ur music and have fun*Thank you! I use Ashampoo Burning Studio 9, and now I write one CD with "Create mp3 or WMA Disc" at 8x speed and I will testing.P.S. Before 10min I tested and works! Thank you very much my friend!

From a quick Google search with somebody having the same issue with the exact unit you have :)

Hope it helps.
