Huawei mediapad M5/M5 lite or iPad

Can anyone recommend either of these? Need a new tablet for the kids. Everyone is recommending the iPad but can't be bothered going back to iOS after switching to an android phone. iPad looks dated as well with its huge bezels.

M5 here. Great tablet. Did have a IPad till the battery munched itself after 3 years.

I recently had to ponder on this and ended up getting an ipad air 2 second hand after reading a lot of negativity towards android tablets in general and some opinions from colleagues who have both, I have to say the iPad is a joy to use.

Personally I would go with the iPad. The distinct lack of support or Android tablet focused apps makes the iPad a fairly easy choice.

Having said that if you really want to stick with Android the Lenovo Tab 4 my children have are great, recently updated to Android 8.1 too.

I have the M3 and it's great. So the 5 can only be better.

We got the kids a Media Tab T5 each, not sure if its the same but they are really good, nice screen, decent battery and plays most of the games they like.
