Modern Warfare 2 has had a big step up in graphics quality this year and also comes with an excellent built-in benchmark that stresses the CPU and GPU similarly to playing online.

I can say the game looks and runs great on my 4090. And I will surely be putting up some benchmark comparisons of the 4090 vs a RDNA3 GPU when available.

Where Benchmark Thread :D

Really enjoying this game , not enjoying the useless teams im normally paired with though and involves me carrying half of them through to the win

Games a bit buggy which is a shame, CODs are normally pretty polished for the most part. Graphics are nice in single player though.

Its seem to play perfect for me now i have found a stable overclock setting on the gpu with no in game crashing over the last 30 odd mp matches , we had an issue on the weekend though where it kept kicking out one of our party members randomly so they need to sort that but from past experience with cod games stretching back to the original MW ( PS3 ) they will get all these issues sorted eventually :) Game certainly looks stunning though and really looking forward to Warzone 2 .

How much better are the GFX would you say Matt/Everyone? I've not seen a digital foundry type analysis. I'm on the fence about buying this
Big step up in quality from MW19/Warzone graphics. I'll be uploading some footage of the game running on my 4090 to YT before long so I'll share it with you when I do.

Ah lovely. I'll wait around 'til black Friday to see if there's a deal (i can't imagine there will be...)

Not played the campaign yet, just multiplayer, good showing from AMD, if anything those results are a little low, at least from my experience with the 6900XT, extreme preset @1440P i get 158fps, runs absolutely brilliantly.
Maybe i'll give the singleplayer a go later.

Funny how we never saw the 6900xtxh. The closest we can extrapolate from the 6900xtxh is the 6950xt. And, I don't even use fsr in that game.

Case in point about carrying the team to the win :D , was going to leave this match at one point as we were losing so badly but decided to stay and help them out  Really am enjoying but i am not the biggest fan of how they are making you use different guns to unlock different attachments ... currently using the Tac-M and my god it is a pos  also needs more maps desperately as 10 mp maps is not enough!
