Hi,

I have vm Internet coming into the router. Then a cable from the router to my pc. I'd like to hardwire my ps4 rather than wireless it.

Can I split the cable at the end that goes into my pc so it can go into my pc and ps4? If so, should I do it with a hub or switch?

Kind regards,

If running another network cable from your router isn't an option, then get one of these and unplug the network cable from your PC into this. Then plug in two more network cables into it; one goes to your PC and the other to the PS4.

Switch, not sure you will find a hub easily now.

Is running another cable back to the vm router not an option?

Well it could be an option. Is about 30 meters of cable and I have to go into my loft, it's basically a lot of hassle.

Okay at that price it seems a simple switch is the way to go.

Thanks both!

Im afraid the 1990s came back and took all the hubs with them....

Found this still in use as of yesterday
