Hubble Finds Unidentified Object in Space, Scientists Puzzled

Firstly that cross hair looks non standard and the fact it tracked it for 100 days always keeping it in the centre i would say hubble is definatly using an aimbot.

To celebrate hubbles 100,000th orbit of earth, they took this photo.

Hmm i wonder if theres something interesting under those three hidden blocks because in all the images of that nebula those have always been missing as far as i can remember.

OMG Hubble is the HaxxxorrzzzzZ!!!!!1111

lol

I'm pretty sure that the scientists at NASA probably thought of the same thing, being, you know, NASA scientists. And I'm sure they would have ruled it out before making an announcement that they had discovered something new.

And what looks like a dot to you is probably far more significant to the sort of people who operate Hubble. Christ, people are so negative here. It's as though you don't want them to be searching the universe for new phenomena

totally agree, theres way too much negativity sorrounding this from people in general.

Why don't you just email them and ask for the full picture?

Or is it just easier to believe a conspiracy?

An amazing picture, that was taken with hubbles 0.6 megapixel camera , imagine what they will get with the new 16 megapixel sensor in october :D
Hubble only has a 0.6MP camera
And to think I have an image taken by hubble that is 29566x14321. Must have taken a while to stitch!

Can't wait till October to see what it can do :D

Interesting.

Shame we can't have anything vaguely mysterious about space (or anything really) anymore without "lizards", "tilt" and "oh noes they are coming to invadez!".

Take each thread on its own merit rather than trolling them by association.
