How does one know what switches one sound get? Im tempted by browns to get that switch type feel through my fingers to know that a key has been pressed. Is there a noticeable feel to the browns?
 
You got me. Hook, line and sinker. Ordered brown switched in Magenta.... And 30 seconds later realised I sent to my home address instead of work.... So you now have a web note seeing if I can get that changed. Pretty please!

i have browns, reds and blacks in my boards, reds and blacks have no noticable feed back or noise.

browns have a little bit of feedback, but not too much. if you just press them down slowly to feel it, you can tell its there, but its not "in your face".

i prefer my browns to the reds or black.

blues/greens are too noisy for me, although i do like the sound when im at events!!!
 
I did read that which was what got me heading towards the browns doent give you a feel of them though, big question though are mechs really that good compared to domes?
 
i actually went from a dome Microsoft x4, to a ducky shine 3 with red switches. its definitely nicer and the build quality is super solid and heavy but lack of media keys is a bit annoying (hopefully can change that with the asus f key thing)

If you update the firmware you get media keys.

02. New: Multimedia keys (Fn + Calc = Play/Pause, Fn + PC = Stop, Fn + Mail = Previous Song, Fn + Home = Next Song).
