Huge file editor?

Hi all,

I'm looking to edit an XML file that's over 4gb in size (don't ask). Does anyone know of any text editor or similar that'll allow me to do this? I don't need to do anything special, just delete some lines at the end then paste a couple others in.

can try http://notepad-plus.sourceforge.net/uk/site.htm

But surly any text editor will do, surly they don't have file limits on them any more. Might grind your computer to a halt for a while as it loads up.

Most of the ones I've tried complain the file is too big to load into memory. I've found one that reads directly from disk but that only supports up to 2gb. Will try notepad++ tho, thanks.

Editpad works best. I've opened 38gb text files with this!

Yup that'll work, but personally I use Vi.
Edit: A 4GB is tiny compared to what I'm usually playing with
