Human meat...

If this is the channel 4 program that was on last night I'm pretty sure it was a spoof.

The show was a spoof (although nobody knew that when it was aired) but there is a company actually doing this and engineering human meat from real human volunteers flesh samples.

These AI bots are getting more advanced all the time. Now asking us if we’ll be happy consuming the meat of our elderly when they are no longer of any use to the matrix.

Ah well I guess the vCJD will dull the relentless awareness it’s all a charade to keep us docile.

You've got a wild and paranoid imagination if you think I'm an AI bot. Here's a link to the program about human meat.

"Today, I would like to discuss cannibalism. I believe the best place to initiate this, would be the forum of a UK computer parts retailer."

And any of the other topics in this general section are any more relevant to this computer parts forum ??? Wind your neck in clever cloggs.

no it's not, it was a spoof show. no one is eating human meat.

But it has already been produced/engineered/manufactured. That's the point of the topic.
The TV show was just to provoke thought about something that could be on the supermarket shelves if the general public aren't outraged by it. The question really for anyone on this forum is would you buy it and eat it if it was 50% cheaper than all the other animal meats we're all accustomed to???

:D

It's only when you know where the meat comes from does it mess with the head. Meat is meat. Chuck a load of chilli and garlic sauce over it and you'd never know :D

That's very true. We see beef steak on the shelves and buy it because in our heads it's acceptable to eat a cow but if we found out rump steak was actually cut from the ass of a fat woman we would probably stop buying it even though we liked the taste. The horse meat scandal was an eye opener for many people and I haven't eaten minced beef or a supermarket steak since that happened.

Horse meat scandal is a good example. Why would you eat cow but not horse? makes no sense to me. In both cases an animal has been bread to be slaughtered for human consumption. If we watched a cow and horse being slaughtered we'd probably feel the same regardless of which we were watching yet we'll happily scoff cow but not horse at the dinner table. No logic to it!

Exactly right !

Indeed, I honestly don't think people were too personally horrified to find out they ate horse meat. It was more that it was an undocumented animal being used in the processing. If I pay for beef I expect beef.

That's my thinking too. I'm a chef so quite literally there's not much I haven't tasted or eaten in my life but I do expect to at least know what it is that I'm eating. Don't sell me a traditional lasagna if the "beef" is actually donkey testicles and don't sell me a fish pie if the "fish" is actually minced whale/shark tails.

That's enough GD for today.

Are you a MOD on here Mr. Sparkling Swingers ?
"Enough" only happens when a topic is dead or removed on a forum. If you're struggling to deal with this conversational thread I suggest you go back to playing video games or whacking off to "questionable" erotica lol

Shhhh don't tell them that or they'll come for us tall people :D

Tall doesn't guarantee a better cut of meat any more than a fat person does.
Can you imagine trying to get a decent steak off Peter Crouch?
I'd gladly chew Liam Hensworth sirloin though and slowly suck the tender braised brisket from the bones of George Foreman ;)

Why doesn't the trolls post count go up? Still on 4 posts?

Thanks for the silly insult, Forum Judge.
Do you understand the definition of troll and how trolls behave (rhetorical, not interested in your reply).
I've not even looked at my post count but why do you care if it goes up or down ???
