Depends what you mean, in terms of movement Boston Dynamics has made a lot of progress there, I'm not sure their goal is really to make anything human like mind.

In terms of being able to communicate/have a conversation GPT-3 for example is very impressive.

I don't think we'd be getting anything like the stuff seen in Ex_Machina or Humans any time soon mind.
