Anyone just watched this on BBC1? It's a spy drama from the makers of Spooks.

It's a bit more gritty I'd say, blood and violence which is good in my book. However the main protagonist, ex home and away wench Melissa George, beats up 6 foot special forces guys for fun, which I just can't look past.

Bloomin beeb, more worried about pc and equal ops than realism.

What say you?

Watched the first episode the other night. Quite enjoyed it. Will be carrying on recording it and see how it progresses.

She's about as big as Jackie Chan, he can handle himself pretty well.

I'd say it was better than Spooks as there is a certain mystery behind the organisation and who's after Sam. It airs in America tonight I believe, just after Fringe (albeit on a different channel). I'm enjoying the unravelling plot so far and also the violence is most welcome.

Still not sure what to make of the Rich guys 40yr old son. He's so weak I feel sometimes he's jsut too weak, he's like a child almost.

Show is still good though, plot seems to be developing nicely, ending was OMG! That headbutt was pretty awesome too. Also, boobies :D

The only slight difference being that one's a man.

It's a joke the way she easily beats the hell out of these muscle factories, wouldn't happen.

She's agile and well trained, she hasn't literally beat anyone up she's out witted them. You see her get dropped to the floor when she does take a big blow.

Being big and muscly doesn't mean you can fight. Amir Khan recently beat up 6 guys who tried to nick his car, all were bigger than him.

True. It's the size of the fight in the man not the man in the fight, etc. And there's plenty more stuff for me to be cynical about. I just feel that the role was made a woman's for PC reasons and no other.

NWO conspiracy stuff hidden in a painting, this goerballs (or whoever he really is) is pretty interesting! This show gets better and better!

Surprised the girl from Twenty Twelve got her baps out

I'm actually really enjoying this. Proud to say I work where all the post was done. I work every day with the lady that graded it heh. Love the look of it, although it's not particularly subtle :p

You get to see one of her nipples in episode 6 :D

Will probably watch episode 7 tomorrow.

Just finished watching the final episode after loving the whole series. Yes it's a bit darker than spooks and yes I would prefer spooks over this but we all don't like change do we?

I don't want to give any spoilers away just yet but I need help explaining the very end

Yeah some of it needs explaining!
I think Deacon and possibly the Scottish girl helped Sam fake her death. I think their boss was in on it. As for the baby at the end? Eh?

It's a shame that by the sounds of it the BBC aren't taking the second series on, hopefully ch4 will. We did the post at my work so I'll try to find out!

That last episode was not complete. There wasn’t any explanation on why she was a target or how it ended. It looked as though they had rushed the ending. They left it in mid-air which after eight weeks of perseverance was quite a let-down.

My only one proper niggle with the last episode was Byzantium boss telling Deacon he was likely to take control, Deacon to me showed no leadership at all, to me he was just the one that prohibited them from breaking rules even when necessary and told the new guy to the team how to make cups of tea.

This is disappointing if true, I don't suppose HBO will be too pleased either. It seemed to be on the 'popular' list on iPlayer as much as any other drama that is getting more than one seasons. Get rid of New Tricks and do this imo.

A season doesn't have to explain everything, why she's being targeted could be a 2, 3, or even 4 season story, the main arc of this season was setting up the characters, and giving them a clients case to solve

Now why does the ending seem very similar to another film I have seen recently

Lol.

Explain further please :p
