Hurricane Dorian

Still seems to be on a knife edge as to how bad it will be and where it will impact the most but all the potential there for something pretty lethal.
 
I WhatsApped a NYC couple yesterday, that I knew were in Aruba last week, they said that they flew from Aruba to Boston, Mass. on Friday, August 30, and apart from the pilot announcing that they were going to fly a little further east than usual, to make sure that they went around Dorian, it had had no affect on them at all.
 
Hurricanes and natural disasters are weird. A tiny part of everyone hopes it will ramp up into some utterly crazy bombastic catastrophe. Disasters are just naturally interesting, I guess.

I'm kinda hoping this turns out to be a big one, I love watching the webcams and seeing the power of the storm unfold and the damage it can do.

Other half has relatives in the Bahamas and there's evacuations taking place right now. Luckily they're not near the storms path, it's just going over the abaco islands I believe.
