As quite a lot of you on here live in possibly affected areas such as Scotland and the NW of England (such as myself) I thought I'd get an observation thread going.

I live near Preston, we're only forecast to get the very tail end of it, but Strathclyde in Scotland is forecast to bear the brunt of the storm along with surrounding areas.

This could be very interesting! Landfall is expected to be on Monday morning for Northern Ireland, and moving across to Scotland on Monday afternoon/evening.

Keep us updated if you live in affected areas. Nothing to report where I am so far, just a bit windy.

It's already been a wet and windy couple of days here but is forecast to be nasty the next few days. We're forecast for 61mph winds on Monday night, fun :/

Bit grey and rainy in strathclyde, nothing really out of the ordinary then :D

If the wind picks up tomorrow, I shall be heading up there to experience the proper 'tail-end' of the storm. I've done crazy stuff like this before, in 2006 I went down south to get a feel for what Hurricane Gordon was up to, and I've wanted to do it again ever since... really makes you appreciate the power of nature.
