Hi, I'm after a Husky fridge for my room at Uni. I was wondering if anyone knew anywhere that's selling them at a decent price (like Sommerfield were recently doing them for £59). I know Lidl are doing them for £49, but they're old stock, but I'll investigate them anyway.

Many Thanks :).

You on about the branded ones like the Stella Fridges?

If so i got mine about 2 years ago now at Lidl for 99 quid. Never seen them as cheap as 49 quid before mind!!

Yeah they are £49 atm, considering getting one but not sure if it would be a waste of money or not :/

We have two, one in the games room and one in my brothers room that he takes off to uni when he goes.

Really handy for keeping a stock of drinks in without filling up your main fridge.

Yer, it's been said three times already ;) :p. As I said they're old stock. Dunno how old or what difference it makes though, so I'll have a look anyway and might get one if they seem ok :). Although I'd have no objection to paying £10 more for a newer one ;).

You have your own games room but own a cheap supermarket fridge, one wonders. Smeg would be the way to go with a respectable American style pool table.

We have a Neff full height inbuilt fridge, a 32 bottle wine cooler and an american fridge/freezer with ice maker and water chiller in the kithchen, as well as a large chest freezer in the garage.... another full size fridge would just be overkill!

im gonna pick one of the smaller ones up from lidl tomorrow for £50 you cant complain should do me nicely for uni

got a nice Stella fridge before the World Cup, paid £99 from an electrical superstore. They are a little noisy sometimes as they go on a cycle almost like standby - chill - standby - chill......nothing too bad really.

would you be able to sleep in the same room as one? :)

Was actually looking at getting one of these myself. Other than Lidl are there any good online stores where i could order one? Preferably a new one rather than Lidl old stock.

There are, but not for £50. I don't know how old the fridges are, they might be brand new, but going by the Lidl pictures, they have white front's whereas the new ones have silver fronts. I dunno the extent of the difference (for all I know the ones might have silver fronts, and Lidl are just using the picture from last year). But I'll investigate anyway ;).

I’ve had my England Husky fridge for over a year now, half price at Sainsbury’s :P + discount think I paid £34 for it in the end a bargain indeed :) and its colder than my fridge in the kitchen Guinness goes down a treat! It’s a must get.

very quiet indeed - i think my pc is louder

I got a black husky fridge, no branding, for £50.00 from Aldi about 2 or 3 months ago, not sure if they're still doing them or not.

Fairly quiet & handy to have upstairs for laziness purposes :D
