Nobody else love this thing?! Not seen any mention of it round here yet. Very tempted to pick one up :D

Going to try organise a test ride in the next couple of weeks.

Do these sorts of things need a lot of looking after or can you thrash them around and leave them in a puddle all night?

Depends what riding I guess. If it's riding about on the road, then judging by the normal service interval, I'd say you don't need to look after it any more than another bike. This one is the road version after all. I guess the enduro might need a bit more attention, but that's probably only down to where you'd ride it.

I don't like it, it doesn't look like an SM anymore... Look at that really wide rear and very slim front. It should be the other way round! :(

I've mentioned them a few times ;).

I plan on picking one up after I pass my DAS. They look amazing. I did consider the 690 SMC, but the 701 looks much better.

RJ seems to be riding a bit crazier than he normally does on the 701. Looks like he's giving in to the hooligan reputation of SMs ;). He'll be wheelying in his 701 vid two :D.

I see where you're coming from, but aside from a slightly enlarged tail fairing going down the side of the silencer, it looks about the same. :)

It's a re badged KTM/Husqvarna hybrid so I would say most likely. It will probably be brilliant when it's running properly. 8k is a lot of money for this.
