Husqvarna 701 Supermoto

Ooh, there's a dealer not 3 or 4 miles from my work... :eek:

I must admit they look awesome, you'd get people swarming over it if you parked up at Box hill on a Sunday. :D
 
My local dealer is being stupid. Only response I've had is a one line email with "We will be having a open day soon. There will be a bike available to try". No time, no date, no more information. It's almost as if they don't want my money...

Maybe I'll go elsewhere.

They did a starplien (spelling) of the 401 which was sinilar but more tugged and off road looking that would look good on the 701 too

Just needs the husky cylinder head and dayglo yellow swapping for red or maybe the bronze.
 
I Love supermotos they just look/seem like so much fun. The one posted looks 10 times better in Black, I'd go as far as rejecting the white one off hand but could easily fall in love with it in Black.

Have you look at the KTM 690smc? It's mostly black. The 701 is built off it.

Hard choice but I'd go with the Black & Orange one because of the front light & front mudguard but I'd chop off that plastic **** sticking out the back & stick a moto x style small rubber plate & light on it instead.

How many gallons/Litres can you get in the tank & what's it's range ?
 
I'd have one of these in a heart beat if i had the cash!

I'll stick to my Dorsoduro for the time being, its just as fun :)
